Monteverde

Monteverde…This area is famous for the cloud forest. Costa Rica is famous for zip lines. We were told by multiple people that this was the best ones to go to.

What better way to see the cloud forest than to fly through it? Easier said than done, we did not expect the zip lines to be so long nor scary.  Be prepared for a huge workout.

We booked at Extremo Zip Lines.  This had 14 platforms and it took us almost 2.5 hours to complete and we only had about 7 people.  I can only imagine when the tours are full how long it would take.

I could never manage to get the braking right, so I always got to go with the guide.

And we both conquered our fear of rappelling.  Lisa cried because she was so scared, but we did it.  After this it made us feel like we could conquer the world.
